artist date with the frost

I am currently working through Julia Cameron's "The Artist's Way" with a Yahoo group I belong to called "Blissfully Art Journaling" and I consider that my little trip out into our recent chilling frosts with my digital camera to be my artist's date for the week.

Here is the result of my little photographic jaunt out early on a frosty morning.

Great pictures! Look at the buildup on that lime and those blades of grass. You really caught the detail well.

The first picture is a lovely view. How lucky you live close to something like this.

Great photos. Ouch for those lemons - hope they do okay. Great artist's date. I drove out to California to visit my daughter yesterday and I got lots of pics - blindly shot as I drove. I'd hold up the camera and hope I was aiming at something and press the button. I haven't looked at the pics yet to see if I got anything. I wonder if that can count as an artist date, lol.

Great photos!! I find it so fascinating that we can see the "other side" so quickly. Cold there and hot here. Thanks for sharing your Artist Date :-))

goodness, I didn't think you guys got frosts like this up there! I bet you had chilly fingers after that lot!

Also, while I'm here, I really like the journal pages you're doing, they look very artistic and interesting!

The first 3 pics brought tears to my eyes, i think I've said it before but it's extraordinary how a picture can connect with something so deeply ingrained in me. Perhaps it's the light or the atmosphere, so very NZ. All those frosty mornings getting on my bike slidding my way to work!! Thanks for these pics, really great!
