Illustration Friday "Punch line"

Although Flora tried hard to understand the punchline, her mind kept wandering to fanciful flowers!

This week's post for Illustration Friday. Mixed media collage of magazine cutting, scrapbooking paper, acrylic paint and fineline pen drawing. Took a little while to think of something for the topic! But it came to me in the end. This is part of a art journal I am collaging which I plan to run a fanciful story through. I will let you know my progress as time passes.

Love this piece. The punchline really matches the look on her face and I just love the texture and the colors of the background.

Beautiful colours you've used here. I don't blame her for drifting off. ;-)

so dream-like and lovely... I like how the background plays and blends with the pattern in her dress.

Hi MMM,
I like your approach to collage. I enjoyed your other entries as well. I found "forgotten" very powerful. I look forward to seeing progress on your book project. Thanks for your visit and comments!

I came to look at your "sour" which is fun, but I keep scrolling down to this one. There's just something about her that has really captured me. It's just lovely.
